Star Party (May 16)

Join Bears Ears Partnership for our monthly Star Party on Friday, May 16, this time in Blanding, Utah!

Come enjoy spectacular dark skies from 9:00-10:30pm, at the San Juan High School football field (311 N 100 E, Blanding, UT 84511).

All experience levels welcome. We will provide several telescopes for you to use, and you are welcome to bring your own. BEP staff will share stargazing tips and point out celestial features. Please bring a red light and chair or blanket for sitting. 

Thanks to support from Utah Arts and Museums, BEP will be hosting monthly star parties around each New Moon, in addition to other Dark Sky programming. Save the date for June 28, July 26, August 23, September 20,  October 18, November 22 .
