Bears Ears Summer Camp: June 3-5

Jump start your kid's summer at Bears Ears Summer Camp, June 3-5, 2025– available to local and/or Indigenous youth 12-15 years old!
Bears Ears Summer Camp includes three days and two nights of rafting the San Juan River from Sand Island to Mexican Hat, day-hiking in Bears Ears National Monument, and sharing Indigenous Knowledge. Participants will raft, hike, and camp while building connection to place and each other. All meals included.
**Registration is FREE for local San Juan County or Indigenous Youth.** If eligible, use code "Local" when registering.

Pecos Conference

Bears Ears Partnership has stepped forward to organize and host the 2025 Pecos Conference in San Juan County, August 7-10. This annual conference is an opportunity to share the latest updates on archaeology in the US Southwest and northern Mexico.
